    Summer 2017 College Now courses at LaGuardia Community College will be offered from July 5 to August 3. Courses offered: Thinking Critically about Education; Social and Political Philosophy; Introductory Nutrition. All courses include free tuition, a MetroCard, lunch, textbooks, and course materials. Open to rising Juniors and Seniors (September 2017) who meet the prerequisites listed on flyers.

Each tuition-free course offers 3 college credits and high school elective credit!

The CUNY College Now website contains a complete listing of Summer 2017 CUNY College Now summer course offerings at other participating CUNY colleges (go to underlined links). These colleges may reserve their College Now seats for students from their partnering high schools; however, any NYCDOE qualified high school student may apply. In September QVTHS students who successfully complete a Summer College Now course at another campus must inform their guidance counselor or Ms. Salas-Ocampo in order to receive high school elective credit on their QVTHS transcript.
