MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the school of SSBT is to prepare students to exceed in the skilled buildings trades and to succeed in post secondary education. We provide standards-based instruction in a personalized and collaborative environment. We integrate a rigorous academic curriculum with our core career and technical program. Students currently choose between a three year concentration in Plumbing Design and Technology or Electrical Installation and Designs, culminating in certifications in their respective industries. Upon graduation, our students are prepared to become skilled professionals who are effective problem solvers, communicators, and decision makers. They are encouraged to seek solutions as responsible workers, and as civic-minded, ethical, industry and community leaders. 

 

VISION STATEMENT

Graduates of the School of Skilled Building Trades will possess the knowledge, skills, experience, and confidence to excel in a technologically complex and competitive global economy. Our graduates will have the technological, academic, and interpersonal competencies and the practical certifications needed to readily integrate into both the workforce and post-secondary education.
