Our New Student Orientation will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018. If you have any questions, please contact us by email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Note that we expect both students and parents/guardians to attend this very important event.
Location: Orientation will be held in the school auditorium. Enter through our main entrance, located at the corner of 38th Street and 47th Avenue.
Time: Students with last names A-L arrive at 9:00am, students with last names M-Z arrive at 12:00pm.
Please take public transportation. There is no parking available and you need to know how your child will be coming to school everyday. The closest subway station is the 7 train at 40th St; the Q32 and Q60 buses are nearby at 38th St. and Queens Blvd.

Who needs to attend? All new students, along with their parents/guardians.
Will my class schedule be distributed? Class schedules are distributed in August, approximately one week before the first day of school. Guidance counselors will be available at orientation if you have any schedule questions.
When do I get my school ID? We will take ID photos at orientation and distribute ID cards during lunch periods on the first day of school.
When do I get my MetroCard? Student MetroCards will be distributed in lunch on the first day of school.
Is there a grades app? When do we get access? Students and parents/guardians at QV have access to attendance, grades, assignments, and messages through the PupilPath app. We will give you instructions and your access code at orientation.
