Orientation 2017

Congratulations, and welcome to Queens Vocational and Technical High School!

Our Freshmen Orientation will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. You will receive a letter in the mail with instructions and a medical form. If you have not received anything, you may contact us by phone at 718-937-3010. From July 5 to August 21, please contact us at our summer school site, Long Island City High School.

Location: Orientation will be held in the school auditorium. Enter through our main entrance, located at the corner of 38th Street and 47th Avenue.

Time: Students with last names A-L arrive at 9:00am, students with last names M-Z arrive at 12:00pm.

Please take public transportation. There is no parking available and you need to know how your child will be coming to school everyday. The closest subway station is the 7 train at 40th St; the Q32 and Q60 buses are nearby at 38th St. and Queens Blvd.
